All RPP FM volunteers are members – membership offers access to roles, training and voting rights, and ensures that both you and the station are protected by required legislation.

Volunteers
RPP FM has over 120 volunteers, 70 of whom present 24 hours of radio a day, seven days a week all year round. We have roles both behind the mic and behind the scenes as we deliver over 50 music, news and sports programs to our local community every week.
Volunteers can work in programming, production, fundraising, administration, technology and more.
Training Info
No experience? No problem! RPP FM has full training facilities and expertise in radio, podcast and video production. Our trainers will develop your skills at no additional cost to your membership fee. All we need from you is your ideas, energy and love of community radio.
University Placements
RPP FM has enjoyed a long and productive relationship with a number of universities across Victoria. We are able to accommodate two interns per semester and can offer experience in radio and video production, journalism and broadcasting. Contact us for more information.
School Work Experience
RPP FM welcomes applications for work experience from secondary school students in Year 10 and above. During their time with us, these students will create their own radio program in which they will write the script, curate a playlist, record the show in a studio, then edit it to fit the program schedule. Their show will be broadcast on RPP FM during the Sunday Sessions slot.
