RPP FM’s newest show ‘Underplayed Underrated’, will dive deep into the local Peninsula music and arts scene, featuring interviews from the best up-and-coming acts, gig guides, and of course the best local tunes. It will be your go-to place to discover your new favourite artist, and in the process help support our local music scene! The Peninsula is over-flowing with talent, but with such a saturated music market, they can easily be lost in the noise. ‘Underplayed Underrated’ will ensure you are only hearing the finest the Peninsula has to offer, so be sure to tune in on Saturdays, 7:30 to 9pm !
Presenter Bio
“Underrated Underplayed’ will be hosted by local musician Alexis Remi. Alexis and her band have been gigging around the Peninsula and Melbourne city for a few years now, having had some notable achievements such as releasing their debut EP, ‘before I forget’, opening for incredible acts such as ILUKA, Public House, Zombeaches, CLAMM, and many more, and building a loyal local following.
Alexis is keen to channel her love and passion for the local music scene and broader Australian artists into this new show, in hopes of sharing great music and building up all of her favourite emerging local acts.
