Mornington no Lajio (モーニングトンのラジオ) is a relaxed, Japanese-language radio show from the Mornington Peninsula.
The show shares local news and event updates from around the Peninsula in Japanese, along with sports chat and easygoing conversations about life, culture, and current topics in Japan and Australia.
You’ll also hear a great mix of music, including J-POP, Japanese city pop, and nostalgic “Natsu Melo” classics and ANISON (anime songs), perfect for winding down at the end of the week.
Presenter Bio
Ryo Tsukakoshi is originally from Tokyo. He has called Australia home for over 30 years and has been based on the Mornington Peninsula for the past two decades. He studied Economics in Japan and has professional experience in banking and finance, along with strong knowledge of Japanese culture and a love of Japanese food and cooking.
A strong advocate for an active lifestyle, he enjoys daily jogging and ocean swimming, and has a lifelong love of all sports. Ryo is the proud father of two grown-up sons; he shares life with his lovely partner and their dog.
