RPP Welcomes New Station Manager – Chris Mofardin
After 14 years at the helm, Brendon Telfer decided to step aside from the role of RPP’s Station Manager. After a recruitment process, RPP was delighted to welcome Chris Mofardin to the role. Chris has been a volunteer at the station for the past five years, working as a producer and community engagement officer and more recently, as co-host of the Friday drive time show Spilling the Tea.
Chris has worked as a producer in television and radio for 15 years, working with the BBC, ITV and Endemol Shine Australia. Chris says of her new gig: “This is the dream job I never knew I wanted until I met the incredible people at RPP, a place that celebrates music, community and inclusion – what’s not to love? Brendon has left the place in fantastic shape.”
Speaking of Brendon, we won’t be losing him as he is our new Head of News & Sport, delivering daily local news and ensuring we cover the breadth of talent that is local sport. If you have news stories you want to share, you can reach him at news@rppfm.com.au.
